About the role
Seafolly is looking for a highly organised and creatively driven Design Assistant to support the Design Team in developing its seasonal resort‑lifestyle collections. Reporting to a Senior Designer, you will gain hands‑on experience with a global fashion brand while contributing to the creation of vibrant, market‑ready designs.
Key responsibilities
- Create and maintain CAD files, colourways and design presentations aligned with seasonal briefs.
- Support end‑to‑end range development and sourcing by liaising with designers, offshore suppliers, mills and vendors.
- Track and manage fabric development, lab dips, strike‑offs and sample requests, maintaining clear approval records.
- Accurately record material pricing, MOQs and lead times, ensuring data is up‑to‑date for costing and production planning.
- Build and update comprehensive tech packs and manage product data within the AP21 PLM system.
- Maintain Excel‑based trackers for work‑in‑progress, critical paths, costing tools and sample logs.
- Assist with fittings, sample reviews, internal range presentations and e‑commerce shoots.
Required profile
- Strong eye for detail and passion for resort‑lifestyle fashion.
- Eagerness to develop practical experience within a global apparel brand.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Required skills
- Proficiency in CAD software for fashion design.
- Experience with PLM systems, specifically AP21.
- Advanced Excel skills for tracking and data management.
