Consultant Geriatrician

About the role

Atticus Health is looking for a Consultant Geriatrician (or an Advanced Trainee close to completion) to deliver specialist geriatric care across multiple residential aged‑care facilities on the Mornington Peninsula. The role offers autonomy, continuity of care and the chance to influence innovative models of aged‑care delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialist geriatric assessments, care planning and reviews for residents in residential aged‑care facilities.
• Collaborate closely with experienced GPs, nurses, allied health professionals and care teams.
• Optionally run clinic sessions at Atticus Health medical clinics.
• Contribute to the development of integrated aged‑care and geriatric care models.

Required profile

• Qualified Geriatrician or Advanced Trainee nearing completion.
• Patient‑centred approach with strong communication skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Confidence using digital health systems and telehealth where appropriate.

Required skills

• Use of digital health record systems.
• Telehealth delivery.
