About the role

A high-quality stonework business in Newcastle, NSW, specialising in marble, granite and natural stone, is looking for a CNC Bridge Saw / Waterjet Operator. The role involves operating both bridge saw and waterjet machines in the factory.

Key responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC bridge saw and waterjet machines to benchtop specifications
Interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Fabricate benchtop parts with precision and accuracy
Monitor machine operations and make adjustments
Inspect finished products for defects
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines
Carry out general factory duties

Required profile

Splomasonry trade qualification or industry experience
2+ years on CNC bridge saws or waterjets
Current working rights in Australia

Required skills

Strong attention to detail
Ability to read plans and measurements

Hours: Mon to Thursday 6:30-4:30, Friday 6:30-1, with plenty available
