Civil Drafter – Brisbane

About the role

Egis is seeking an experienced Civil Drafter to join its Brisbane team. You will provide efficient drafting services and support the production of schematic drawings for a variety of civil projects.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Management, Engineering and Design teams to produce drawings that meet client specifications, budget and schedule.
• Review and adjust drawings to ensure compliance with drafting standards and statutory requirements.
• Present drawings to production, construction teams, clients and consultants, making necessary revisions.
• Contribute technical and drafting input, and occasional design work, using CAD systems.
• Assist with Bill of Quantities for subdivisional infrastructure, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Perform administrative tasks related to drawing production and project documentation.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in civil drafting or a related field.
• Diploma in Civil Engineering or a comparable tertiary qualification.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
• Experience working within a quality management system.

Required skills

• Solid working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with Revit.
• Competence in Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) applications.
