Casual Domestic Assistant – Belconnen, Canberra

About the role

We are looking for reliable casual Domestic Assistants to support older adults in the Belconnen area. The role involves providing in‑home assistance that helps clients maintain independence and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Perform basic home cleaning, tidying and domestic duties.
• Assist clients with shopping, appointments and transportation.
• Provide respite care and accompany clients to community activities.
• Prepare simple meals and support social engagement.
• Travel between client homes with paid travel time and mileage claim.

Required profile

• Willingness to undertake domestic duties and support clients.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.
• Clear National Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People Check.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Full comprehensive car insurance and a valid driver’s licence (or willingness to obtain).
• Smartphone for scheduling and communication.
• Right to live and work in Australia.
