About the role

The Capacity & Performance Management Lead – Risk will join ANZ’s Operational Excellence team within Financial Crime Threat Management (FCTM). You will drive efficiency and performance across large operational teams by analysing data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high‑performing team focused on capacity and performance management.
• Oversee team performance metrics and ensure optimal work distribution.
• Analyse operational data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Provide actionable insights to enhance resource utilisation and operational efficiency.
• Monitor emerging risks and implement proactive measures to maintain business continuity.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align capacity planning with business objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to maintain high standards of performance.
• Manage capacity and resource allocation for FCTM, ensuring resources meet operational demand.
• Oversee alert/work creation and distribution, managing arrival patterns and delivery schedules.
• Conduct Management Information (MI) analysis and deliver insights to senior management.
