Business Controller – Finance & Performance

About the role

DNV is looking for a Business Controller to join its Finance & Performance team within the Energy Systems region across APAC. You will act as a financial business partner, supporting technical delivery teams with accurate reporting, compliance and commercial insight.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with technical delivery teams to address financial and performance challenges.
• Ensure financial reporting is accurate, auditable and compliant.
• Drive continuous improvement of reporting quality and service efficiency.
• Partner with one or more business units to monitor and improve financial performance.
• Work closely with other Business Controllers and the Operational Excellence Manager to deliver professional finance services across APAC.
• Engage with the wider APAC finance community and global Finance & Performance organization.

Required profile

• Strong passion for financial business partnering.
• Deep understanding of operations across sales, people and finance.
• Ability to influence and guide business units toward better commercial outcomes.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
