Banking Consultant – Retail Banking (Wagga Wagga)

About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ’s Retail Banking division, you will deliver a seamless branch experience, helping customers meet their full financial needs through transactions, needs‑based conversations and digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customers with end‑to‑end banking services, including transactions, advice and education on digital channels.
• Act as a role model and peer coach within a collaborative branch team to ensure high‑quality customer experience.
• Drive customer engagement and advocacy, contributing to increased satisfaction and brand loyalty.
• Support bank programmes and initiatives while maintaining compliance with ANZ and branch policies.
• Identify and manage customer risk by “knowing your customer” from a regulatory perspective.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus, preferably with retail banking experience.
• Comfortable using and promoting digital banking technologies.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to change and ambiguity.
• Team‑oriented mindset with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of compliance requirements in a banking environment.
