Assistant Professor / Senior Teaching Fellow – Speech Pathology

About the role

Bond University is seeking innovative academics to join the new Discipline of Speech Pathology within the Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine. The position is offered at Assistant Professor (Level A or B) or Senior Teaching Fellow level, on a full‑time or part‑time basis, with both continuing and fixed‑term contracts available.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver high‑quality, student‑centred curriculum for Speech Pathology programmes.
• Lead and support Work Integrated Learning (WIL) activities, including simulations and placement coordination.
• Strengthen the discipline’s research profile through collaborative projects and industry partnerships.
• Contribute to service and leadership activities that enhance the reputation of the discipline and faculty.
• Provide independent academic leadership within the Speech Pathology unit.

Required profile

• Demonstrated commitment to excellence in curriculum design and delivery.
• Experience in student‑centred teaching and assessment.
• Track record of scholarly activity or research collaboration in Speech Pathology or related health sciences.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, industry partners and the wider community.
