Assistant Accountant

About the role

This full‑time Assistant Accountant position offers the chance to join a collaborative finance team where your work directly supports business performance. You will gain exposure to a wide range of accounting functions while developing your skills in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Generate accurate customer invoices and manage billing information.
• Liaise with customers to obtain purchase order numbers for seamless billing.
• Handle cash collection for the group, including occasional after‑hours communication for global customers.
• Enter vendor invoices, run payment cycles, and process employee expense claims.
• Perform bank and credit‑card reconciliations and maintain the fixed‑asset register.
• Assist with month‑end activities such as journal entries, pre‑payments, inter‑company loan confirmations, and depreciation.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and maintain high‑quality financial data.

Required profile

• Previous experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general accounting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to engage effectively with internal stakeholders and external customers.
• High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem‑solving ability.
• Ownership, curiosity, and a growth‑oriented attitude.
