About the role
The Assessment Officer will support the Crime and Corruption Commission in analysing complex matters, providing recommendations, and ensuring the integrity of investigations into major crime and corruption in Queensland.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse complex cases, make judgments and recommend appropriate actions.
- Manage a high volume of work while meeting strict deadlines and maintaining confidentiality.
- Interview complainants in person or by telephone on sensitive issues.
- Prepare detailed correspondence and reports on complex matters.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external public sector agencies.
Required profile
- Demonstrated ability to analyse complex matters and maintain confidentiality.
- Professionalism, personal drive, resilience and commitment to organisational values.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills for teamwork and stakeholder liaison.
- Experience in conflict resolution and adapting to change.
- Excellent written communication, including report writing.
- Ability to quickly acquire knowledge of the Crime and Corruption Act 2001 and related policies.
