Acquisition Sustainment Unit Lead

About the role

The Acquisition Sustainment Unit Lead will head the Supply and Training Support streams for the AIR6500 IAMD C2 Program’s new Sustainment Management Unit, driving integration and governance of the sustainment enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) subject‑matter expert for Introduction into Service and sustainment activities.
• Coordinate support system integration across AIR6500, CAF14, CELGU, SRG, industry partners and other Defence suppliers.
• Lead governance, reporting and assurance for the supply and training support streams.
• Manage Government Furnished Equipment (GFX) sustainment readiness in line with SLA/MOU arrangements.
• Support logistics information systems administration (e.g., ERP) to ensure program readiness.

Required profile

• Eligible to access US Export Controlled (ITAR) information.
• Tertiary engineering qualification.
• Experience in complex acquisition or sustainment environments, preferably Defence ILS/IPS practice.
• Ability to work onsite at RAAF Williamtown five days per week.
