Account Manager – Mining Chemicals

About the role
Nouryon is seeking an experienced Account Manager to drive growth of its mining chemicals portfolio across Asia (excluding China, Korea and Japan). You will leverage your industry contacts and technical knowledge to generate leads, develop opportunities and deliver sustainable sales performance.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers, distributors and partners in the mining sector.
- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy, aligning with Nouryon’s mining chemicals growth targets.
- Use value‑selling and margin‑management techniques to close deals and optimise profitability.
- Coordinate with Customer Service, Technical Service and global Sales & Marketing teams to ensure seamless delivery.
- Provide market intelligence, create market maps and identify new business opportunities.
- Manage the project pipeline, forecast demand and ensure accurate pricing in internal systems.
- Ensure all activities comply with Nouryon’s Business and Anti‑Competition Principles.
Required profile
- Minimum 10 years of sales, marketing or technical sales experience in specialty chemicals for the mining industry.
- Relevant engineering or chemistry education (B.Tech, B.Eng, M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry or related fields).
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.
- Strong understanding of mining value chains and chemical applications.
