Account Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Account Manager to join a leading communications agency in Melbourne. You will work closely with Account Directors to manage day‑to‑day projects across brand development, digital marketing, publications, advertising and website development.

Key responsibilities

• Build and nurture client relationships while identifying new business opportunities.
• Quote projects, manage budgets and ensure financial targets are met.
• Set and monitor project deadlines, brief and coordinate internal teams.
• Oversee production management for both print and digital deliverables.
• Collaborate with creative and strategy teams to develop compelling campaigns.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in an agency account service role.
• Demonstrated ability to grow business and manage client accounts.
• Strong understanding of print production processes.
• Passion for digital communications and experience across multiple media, including AI.
• Experience with government or not‑for‑profit clients is a plus.
• Interest in social and political issues is a plus.
