About the role
Thryv is looking for an energetic Account Development Representative to join its inside‑sales team. Working from home, you will connect with Australian business owners, qualify opportunities and hand them to field sales colleagues. The role is the first step in a fast‑moving sales engine and offers a clear pathway to higher‑earning positions.
Key responsibilities
- Make 60+ outbound calls daily using an automatic dialer and lead lists from Yellow Pages and Thryv brands.
- Ask purposeful questions to uncover genuine business needs and qualify leads for the field sales team.
- Document key insights and provide comprehensive hand‑offs to Business Development Managers.
- Follow up via calls, SMS and email to ensure no opportunity is missed.
- Meet daily, weekly and monthly activity and KPI targets.
- Earn commission on qualified opportunities that convert to sales.
Required profile
- Comfortable handling a high volume of calls while maintaining a personable tone.
- Experience in customer‑facing or foundational sales roles such as retail, hospitality or call centre work.
- Goal‑oriented, disciplined and able to self‑manage in a remote environment.
- Strong organizational skills and persistence in follow‑through.
Required skills
- Effective verbal communication and active listening.
- Basic proficiency with an automatic dialing system and CRM note‑taking.
What we offer
- Full‑time remote position (Mon–Fri, 8:30 am–5:00 pm AEST/ACST).
- Starting package of $70,750 per year (base + super) plus $15 K OTE commission, uncapped.
- Clear career progression to hybrid and field‑based Business Development roles with earning potential up to $130 K+.
