Urgent Care Doctor

About the role

Kinkaya is seeking a dedicated urgent care doctor to join a family‑focused clinic that prioritises balanced lifestyle and high‑quality care. You will work in a setting where patients of all ages receive comprehensive, undifferentiated acute care without the pressure of night shifts or on‑call duties.

Key responsibilities

• Provide urgent and emergency care to children and adults, including assessment, diagnosis and treatment of fractures, lacerations and other acute conditions.
• Utilise on‑site X‑ray, pathology and a dedicated fracture clinic to deliver complete care without external referrals.
• Collaborate with paediatric‑trained nurses and have direct access to a paediatrician for complex cases.
• Perform a range of minor procedures and surgeries, maintaining high procedural standards.
• Contribute to a small, quality‑focused team, participating in peer review and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Experienced generalist comfortable in high‑acuity, pressure‑filled environments such as rural EDs, FIFO rosters or mining clinics.
• Desire for a balanced lifestyle with no night shifts, on‑call duties or rotating stints.
• Commitment to family‑centred care and a collaborative, non‑corporate practice.
