Unix Engineer – Solaris & Oracle VM Manager

About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced Unix Engineer to join our infrastructure team. The role focuses on advanced Solaris administration and management of Oracle VM environments, supporting critical enterprise services.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and troubleshoot Solaris servers, including storage, networking, and system performance.
• Manage Oracle VM Manager at L3 support level, ensuring optimal virtualization operations.
• Configure and maintain LDOMs and various Solaris zones (branded, kernel, native).
• Implement and support Solaris Cluster solutions for high‑availability workloads.
• Integrate and monitor Oracle Enterprise Manager across the environment.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline routine tasks.
• Provide expertise on SPARC hardware components and their lifecycle management.

Required profile

• Expert‑level experience with Solaris administration and troubleshooting.
• Strong background in Oracle VM Manager and Oracle Enterprise Manager.
• Deep knowledge of LDOMs, Solaris zones, and Solaris Cluster technologies.
• Proven ability to script complex automation tasks.
• Hands‑on experience with SPARC hardware and its key components.
