Trainer & Assessor – Early Childhood

About the role

ARC Training, part of Catalyst Education, is seeking a passionate Trainer & Assessor to deliver the CHC30125 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, with future opportunities to teach the CHC50125 Diploma. This 12‑month fixed‑term position works three days a week across Kardinia and Kingston, supporting 10‑15 learners per cohort in a structured, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver face‑to‑face classroom training to groups of 10‑15 early childhood learners.
• Facilitate competency‑based assessments in workplace and simulated settings.
• Support learners in developing practical skills aligned with national training packages.
• Collaborate with Program Coordinators to improve learner success and retention.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of training delivery and assessment practices.

Required profile

• CHC50125 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher) – essential.
• Recent industry experience such as Lead Educator, Educational Leader or Centre Manager.
• Current Working With Children Check.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence.
• TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment – desirable (full support and funding provided).
