Technician – Workshop & On‑site (Trades)

About the role

This position is for a skilled Technician who will operate both in a workshop environment and on‑site locations across Australia. The role requires independent work, adherence to company standards, and the ability to support team members while maintaining a safe and tidy work area.

Key responsibilities

• Work unsupervised in workshop and on‑site settings.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Promote and market Teams’ services, products, and business solutions.
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with AS/NZS ISO 9001.
• Assist fellow employees and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
• Keep the immediate work area clean and tidy, both in the workshop and on site.

Required profile

• Qualified Fitter and Turner or Fitter Machinist (tradesperson or 4th‑year apprentice).
• Valid Australian driver’s licence and Construction (White) Card.
• Willingness to travel and stay away from home for extended periods.
• Ability to work shift work, weekends and public holidays as required.
• Capability to work in remote locations, climb ladders up to 50 m, and operate in confined spaces and at heights.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, set priorities and meet deadlines.
• Pass a pre‑employment medical and work to tight tolerances.
