About the role

Join the Secondary Years branch as a Teaching and Learning Coach, where you will lead and coordinate systemic policy and strategy to enhance student outcomes across Years 7‑12. This senior position leverages deep expertise in curriculum design, teaching practice, learning processes, and assessment to provide high‑impact advice and professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of policies that improve student achievement.
• Coordinate cross‑departmental initiatives focused on curriculum, pedagogy and assessment.
• Provide expert advice and professional learning sessions to teachers and school leaders.
• Build capability within the education community through coaching and resource development.
• Develop and maintain high‑quality teaching and learning resources aligned with strategic goals.

Required profile

• Senior teaching experience (Senior Teacher 2 level) within secondary education.
• Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum design, instructional strategies and assessment frameworks.
• Proven ability to influence policy and drive systemic improvement.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills to work with diverse stakeholders.
