Systems Engineer – Infrastructure Team

About the role

Centorrino Technologies is looking for a passionate Systems Engineer to join its Infrastructure team in Australia. You will help keep our platforms reliable, secure, and up‑to‑date while working in a collaborative, innovation‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, troubleshoot, and patch Linux servers and associated applications.
• Perform security patching and software updates outside business hours.
• Carry out occasional datacenter tasks for hardware upgrades and maintenance.
• Apply security‑first thinking to all changes and configurations.
• Identify improvement opportunities in configurations and procedures.
• Create and maintain high‑quality technical documentation.
• Upskill on new applications deployed by the team.
• Collaborate with other departments to deliver quality solutions.

Required profile

• Australian citizenship and willingness to obtain an NV1 security clearance.
• Solid experience with Linux server operating systems, Veeam Backup suite, and networking/security fundamentals.
• Curiosity, failure‑mode thinking, and a strong drive to understand and solve problems.
• Detail‑oriented, independent, and able to take ownership of tasks.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills; certifications are a plus.
