Systems Administrator - APAC Operations

About the role

GHD is seeking a technically strong Systems Administrator to support its Asia‑Pacific operations. The role involves analysing complex, multi‑domain issues, leading technical discussions, and ensuring the reliability, availability, and security of systems and platforms across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Provision, manage, monitor and decommission systems and platforms.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Technology teams to align services with business requirements and IT best practices.
• Provide high‑level technical guidance to Service Delivery teams for IS Operations activities.
• Ensure system design, deployment and security meet regional requirements and GHD standards.
• Analyse operational and architectural issues, coordinate incident reviews and drive resolution.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear explanations for diverse audiences.
• Automate deployment and configuration management using scripting languages.

• Strong analytical ability to break down multi‑domain problems.
• Excellent communication skills for facilitating technical conversations.
• Proactive stakeholder engagement through direct conversation.
• Ability to work collaboratively across technology, service delivery and security teams.
