Supply Chain Manager – ANZ

About the role

AbbVie is seeking a dynamic Supply Chain Manager to lead end‑to‑end supply chain operations for its Australian and New Zealand business. The role partners with Commercial Operations, Demand & Supply Planning and Finance to ensure a robust S&OP process and the seamless delivery of life‑changing medicines to patients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the ANZ supply chain strategy, covering order management, wholesaler relationships, distribution and third‑party logistics.
• Manage the ANZ distribution services budget, inventory targets, financial planning and logistics‑related LBE processes.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to optimise procurement, inventory management, logistics and distribution processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, cost‑saving targets and operational excellence while maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Support period‑end close activities and monitor sales‑to‑stock‑on‑hand metrics with pharmaceutical wholesalers.
• Lead the implementation of global programs and initiatives in partnership with regional Centers of Excellence and global teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
• Strong analytical and financial planning skills with a track record of delivering cost‑saving outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements affecting pharmaceutical distribution.
• Results‑driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
