Storeperson / Forklift Operator – Afternoon Shift

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Storeperson and Forklift Operator to join our Minto warehouse on the afternoon shift. The role involves handling inbound and outbound goods, operating various types of forklifts, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Key responsibilities

• Despatch goods for customer orders and secure proof of deliveries.
• Accept deliveries, receipt, unpack, sort and check goods for quality, quantity, type or size.
• Operate high‑reach and counterbalance forklifts, as well as other MHE, to move containers, crates, cartons, IBCs and palletised goods.
• Maintain inventory records, complete store reports and record stock movements.
• Perform ad‑hoc housekeeping duties to keep the warehouse tidy.

Required profile

• Current Australian forklift licence (LF).
• Minimum three years’ experience operating both high‑reach and counterbalance forklifts.
• Physically fit and able to lift items up to 25 kg.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, attention to detail and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Preferably experienced with dangerous goods and HACCP procedures.
• Reliable and able to commit to full‑time permanent employment.
