Sourcing Specialist

About the role

The Sourcing Specialist will support the end‑to‑end delivery of sourcing initiatives for ANZ, primarily within the Software category. Working from the Docklands office, the role partners with Category Managers and business stakeholders to drive commercial value and manage sourcing risks.

Key responsibilities

• Execute sourcing processes for goods and services, balancing cost and quality in line with the category strategy.
• Support Category Managers in building a pipeline of opportunities based on contract expiries and stakeholder needs.
• Identify gaps, emerging goods/services, and market opportunities within the category.
• Determine sourcing strategies, conduct due diligence, market and supplier analysis, price benchmarking, and lead negotiations.
• Collaborate with internal teams—including Business, Legal, Risk, Finance and Vendors—to achieve sourcing outcomes.
• Manage the sourcing portfolio, including contract expiry tracking and pipeline planning to meet annual and quarterly targets.
• Drive continuous improvement and commercial excellence to achieve procurement savings.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders to become a category and market expert.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sourcing, preferably within software or technology categories.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management and risk mitigation.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple business functions and regions.
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
