Skilled Civil Worker – North Queensland

About the role

BMD is seeking experienced civil professionals to join its growing North Queensland team. Whether you are a leading hand, foreman, concreter, pipelayer, labourer or equipment operator, you will help deliver a range of infrastructure projects across Townsville, Mackay and the surrounding region.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of civil infrastructure projects on site.
• Perform specialised tasks such as concrete work, pipe installation and equipment operation.
• Collaborate with site teams to ensure safety, quality and schedule compliance.
• Support foremen and senior staff in coordinating daily site activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in civil construction roles (e.g., leading hand, foreman, concreter, pipelayer, labourer, operator).
• Willingness to work on-site in North Queensland.
• Ability to adapt to varied project requirements and team structures.

Required skills

• Concrete placement and finishing.
• Pipelaying techniques.
• Operation of construction machinery and equipment.
