SEO & Digital Marketing Expert (Remote, Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned SEO and Digital Marketing Subject Matter Expert to work remotely on an hourly contract basis. In this role you will evaluate AI‑generated SEO and marketing outputs, create high‑quality training content, and provide detailed feedback to improve AI model performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training prompts and gold‑standard SEO/digital marketing deliverables such as content briefs, strategy notes, and optimization analyses.
• Assess and rank AI‑generated responses for intent match, accuracy, clarity, and practical applicability.
• Identify and document issues related to search intent, keyword strategy, on‑page and technical SEO, content structure, measurement, and compliance risks.
• Fact‑check information, write explanatory notes, and model best‑practice outputs for future AI training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in SEO and/or digital marketing (in‑house, agency or consultancy).
• Strong analytical mindset with experience using GA4, Google Search Console and building dashboards.
• Excellent written English (minimum C1) and meticulous attention to detail.
• Self‑directed, reliable and able to work across time zones in a remote contractor workflow.

Required skills

• SEO fundamentals: keyword research, intent mapping, information architecture, internal linking, content briefs, SERP analysis.
• Technical SEO: crawl/indexation, canonicalization, redirects, sitemaps, Core Web Vitals, schema markup.
• Analytics tools: Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, dashboard creation, experiment design, attribution analysis.
