Senior Supply Planner

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Supply Planner to join SunRice’s ANZ Supply Chain team. You will own the monthly supply cycle for an imported portfolio serving both retail and foodservice customers, balancing service levels, inventory, cost and risk while working closely with overseas and local suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end supply planning for an imported ANZ portfolio across retail and foodservice.
• Keep the monthly supply cycle on track, balancing service, inventory, cost and risk.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with overseas and local suppliers.
• Proactively identify supply risks and implement effective mitigation actions.
• Manage excess, run‑out risks, new product introductions and deletions with a commercial mindset.
• Make decisions on purchase orders, container allocations and inbound priorities when supply is constrained.
• Provide clear supply outlooks highlighting risks and recommended actions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of planning tools, processes and ways of working.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Logistics, Sales, Procurement, Finance and Customer Operations teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of supply planning experience, preferably in FMCG and imported supply chains.
• Strong organisational and detail‑focused mindset, comfortable managing complexity.
• Excellent communicator who builds trust quickly and works well in a collaborative team.
• Calm, practical approach to problem solving and decision making.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP (MRP).
• Familiarity with Power BI.
• Knowledge of SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
