Senior Project Manager – Retail Development

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a $150 million retail development in Melbourne’s outer northern suburbs. This is a long‑term position within a well‑established construction group that values safety, quality and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of project delivery, including programme scheduling, financial management, quality control and safety compliance.
• Manage stakeholder relationships with clients, design consultants and other relevant parties.
• Ensure the project meets company and client expectations while adhering to budget and timeline.
• Lead the on‑site team, coordinate subcontractors and resolve issues in a live project environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience with commercial‑industrial builders in Melbourne on projects exceeding $100 million.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a close‑knit team.
• Demonstrated capability to handle client requirements and drive results on site.
• Positive attitude and team‑oriented approach.
