Senior Process Control Engineers

About the role

Key Engineering Solutions is expanding in Latin America and seeks a Senior Process Control Engineer to work close to operations, solve real‑world problems and directly contribute to the optimisation of major mining and industrial plants in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Stabilise and troubleshoot existing process control systems on‑site.
• Lead advanced optimisation and commissioning activities.
• Improve control strategies, perform loop tuning and implement SCADA/DCS/PLC solutions.
• Provide hands‑on support to operations with measurable impact on performance.
• Collaborate with remote teams in Australia while supporting projects across LATAM.

Required profile

• Strong technical and operational judgement with a hands‑on mindset.
• High degree of autonomy, ownership and consultative capability.
• Practical experience in industrial automation and process control.
• Willingness to travel and work directly with plant operations.

Required skills

• PLC programming and configuration.
• SCADA/DCS platforms.
• Experience with Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider, AVEVA, Ignition or Citect systems.
• Loop tuning and commissioning expertise.
