Senior Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join Aurecon’s fast‑growing Energy business in Western Australia. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our portfolio and helping clients realise complex renewable and thermal power projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and delivery of renewable and thermal power projects across Australia.
• Conduct feasibility studies and life‑cycle cost modelling for new energy assets.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to navigate development approvals, environmental assessments and commercial agreements.
• Provide technical expertise on a range of generation technologies, including gas turbines, solar PV, wind, hydro, biomass and large‑scale batteries.
• Contribute to business growth by engaging with clients and identifying new opportunities in the power sector.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of post‑graduation experience working closely with the power industry or power project developers/owners/operators.
• Relevant engineering qualification; chartered status is preferred.
• Strong passion for innovative engineering and continuous learning.
