Senior DevOps Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure & Security

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing software startup that is transforming the facilities‑management sector. As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will own the cloud platform, ensuring it is secure, reliable, and cost‑effective while working closely with development teams to improve engineering practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure for production and non‑production environments, including compute, networking, storage and security services.
• Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Implement and enforce cloud security controls – IAM, network segmentation, WAF, and compliance with CIS benchmarks.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot production incidents and provide actionable diagnostics.
• Collaborate with developers to adopt best practices for containerisation (ECS, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code.
• Manage identity and access for platform services and Google Workspace, supporting onboarding and off‑boarding processes.

Required profile

• Extensive hands‑on experience with AWS services and a solid understanding of GCP or Azure.
• Proven track record of managing large‑scale deployments and containerised workloads.
• Strong background in infrastructure‑as‑code and automation.
• Ability to work independently, diagnose complex issues and drive security improvements.
