Senior DevOps Engineer (Cloud & Infrastructure)

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead cloud and infrastructure initiatives for its Melbourne clients. The role focuses on designing, automating and operating multi‑cloud environments, ensuring high availability, security and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub or Bamboo.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and ARM templates for Azure, GCP and AWS resources.
• Manage Azure services including Active Directory, RBAC, AKS, Key Vault, load balancing, storage, networking and security.
• Support hybrid and multi‑cloud strategies across Azure, Google Cloud Platform (including GCVE) and Amazon Web Services.
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes (AKS).
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise cloud workloads to meet reliability and cost targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cloud operations and DevOps automation at a senior level.
• Deep hands‑on knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and multi‑cloud environments.
• Strong background in IaC, CI/CD and container orchestration.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
