Secondary Engineer – High Voltage Substations

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Secondary Engineer to join our Adelaide design and engineering team. You will be responsible for delivering precise secondary protection and control (PAC) designs for high‑voltage substations supporting utility and renewable projects.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate secondary system designs and PAC schematics for high‑voltage substations.
• Deliver complex internal and external secondary design projects on schedule.
• Support field staff, customers and colleagues with technical expertise.
• Review and verify secondary system design outputs to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate closely with construction and operations teams to ensure constructability.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience leading complex secondary systems design projects.
• Background in energy, electrical utilities or renewable‑energy sectors.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
