Sea Logistics Operational Care Supervisor – Value Added Services

About the role

As a Sea Logistics Operational Care Supervisor (Value Added Services) you will lead a team that ensures smooth, efficient export shipments. You will combine operational expertise with people leadership to optimise processes, strengthen carrier relationships and deliver high‑quality service to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence by maintaining high‑quality shipment management and consistent performance standards.
• Strengthen partnerships with Customer Care teams, providing proactive information and solutions.
• Maintain and develop carrier relationships to support effective shipment execution.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Customer Care, Systems & Processes) to improve productivity and service delivery.
• Monitor operational KPIs, support profitability targets and manage cost/revenue accuracy.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives to create leaner operations.
• Support claim and dispute resolution, ensuring reliable, professional customer service.

Required profile

• Strong experience in freight forwarding and supply‑chain management, preferably sea logistics.
• Good organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with logistics systems, processes, products and operational workflows.
• Knowledge of market conditions and carrier relationship management.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of financial performance.
• Clear communication skills for engaging diverse stakeholders.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and adaptability in a fast‑paced environment.
