SAP Basis Administrator (Upgrade Project)

About the role

Adactin Group is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator to join an urgent SAP upgrade project. You will be responsible for delivering all BASIS‑related activities, ensuring a smooth transition to S/4HANA 2025 while collaborating with internal teams and external SAP partners.

Key responsibilities

• Provide BASIS and technical support for the SAP upgrade landscape and all interfaces.
• Execute all upgrade‑related tasks, maintain documentation, and create tickets with SAP ECS and CAS.
• Coordinate with third‑party vendors and the SAP RISE team to install compatible add‑on products.
• Perform shakedown testing, resolve defects, and finalize application adjustments (SPDD/SPAU).
• Prepare the S/4HANA DEV system, install prerequisite software, and grant SAP access to required platforms (SharePoint, MS Teams).
• Work with the SAP HEC team on system copies, post‑copy health checks, and infrastructure activities.
• Liaise with SAP vendor teams to address landscape issues and monitor ticket progress.

Required profile

• Proven experience with SAP Basis administration and SAP upgrade projects.
• Familiarity with SAP maintenance lifecycle, non‑SAP interfaces, and downstream system impacts.
• Ability to work closely with BAU and project resources without conflicts.
• Good exposure to SAP Cloud products and finance‑related technical support.
