About the role
Moët Hennessy Australia is looking for a Revenue Accountant to ensure accurate capture and reporting of sales, inventory and cost of sales transactions. This 12‑month contract position works closely with the Finance Manager, BPC, logistics and sales teams.
Key responsibilities
- Capture, process, report and reconcile conditional rebates and freight‑to‑trade (FTT) transactions.
- Act as the functional expert for rebate accounting, managing the VISTEX system and month‑end close for rebate and FTT.
- Accrue rebates based on customer contracts, compute entitlements and perform due‑diligence checks.
- Process rebate settlements for NKA accounts in Australia and New Zealand, track individual rebates/FTT and reconcile balances with sales and BPC.
- Provide rebate data for commercial reviews and support inventory/COGS and cost‑of‑selling analyses.
- Maintain and improve VISTEX system utilisation, document procedures and undertake ad‑hoc projects.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years experience in a fast‑moving consumer goods, manufacturing, distribution or retail accounting environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to build effective relationships across finance, sales and logistics.
- Proactive attitude towards process improvement and team development.
