Restructuring Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Restructuring Manager to join our client’s team in Sydney. You will lead engagements that help businesses navigate corporate distress, voluntary liquidations, restructurings and administrations, while delivering high‑quality client service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day issues on formal insolvency engagements, including trade‑on management, receipts and payments.
• Assist in stakeholder communication, both written and verbal.
• Support non‑formal engagements such as independent business reviews and informal turnarounds.
• Prepare draft reports, presentations and other written correspondence.
• Conduct financial analysis and develop estimated outcome positions for formal insolvency matters.
• Contribute as a key team member on all engagements and business development initiatives.

Required profile

• 4‑7 years of professional restructuring or insolvency experience.
• Tertiary qualification in accounting or finance.
• Chartered Accounting qualification.
• Strong client engagement skills and attention to detail.
• Interest in business development and an existing professional network.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
