Project Manager – Switchboard Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to own switchboard manufacturing projects from order intake through delivery. The role sits in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment and requires close collaboration with engineering, operations and client teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review contracts, specifications and client requirements at project hand‑over.
• Develop project schedules, manage delivery milestones and coordinate detailed engineering.
• Approve engineering deliverables before client submission.
• Manage procurement of equipment and materials to ensure cost‑effective, timely delivery.
• Oversee workshop hand‑over, monitor manufacturing progress and coordinate FAT scheduling.
• Submit RFIs, EOTs, NODs and variations in line with contract requirements.
• Control project budgets, cost forecasts and margin performance.
• Present project status at weekly operations meetings and maintain strong client relationships.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Project Manager or senior Project Engineer in a switchboard manufacturing or related OEM electrical environment.
• Full Australian working rights.

Required skills

• Strong technical understanding of LV switchboards, MCCs and power distribution systems.
• Familiarity with AS/NZS 61439 and relevant Australian standards.
• Knowledge of Siemens Sivacon products (advantageous).
• Experience with contract administration including RFIs, EOTs, NODs and variations.
