Project Manager – Construction (Alice Springs)

About the role

RPS is looking for an experienced client‑side Project Manager to join our Alice Springs office on a full‑time permanent basis. You will lead construction projects for NT Government and other clients, balancing autonomy, stakeholder engagement and hands‑on delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of construction projects, from planning through to handover.
• Oversee contract administration, ensuring compliance with client and contractor agreements.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors and government stakeholders to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Prepare and present progress reports, risk assessments and financial updates.
• Lead site health and safety initiatives and ensure all team members adhere to safety standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years of recent construction project experience, preferably with client‑side exposure.
• Professional qualifications in project management, architecture, engineering, construction management or related fields.
• Proven ability to manage construction contracts and contractor relationships.
• Strong client and stakeholder management, with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
