Production Operator – Haul Truck, Multi‑Skilled & Excavator

About the role

Thiess is looking for experienced Production Mining Operators to join the Caval Ridge Project in Moranbah, Queensland. You will work on a permanent full‑time basis, operating heavy mining equipment on a 7/7 rotating roster of 12.5‑hour shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Operate haul trucks, dozers, graders or excavators safely and efficiently to maximise production.
• Follow Thiess safety standards and operating procedures on a daily basis.
• Participate in dispatch activities and adhere to site‑specific protocols.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience operating haul trucks, dozers, graders or excavators in a coal‑mining environment.
• SSE‑signed, verified skills list and LMS documentation.
• Standard 11 – Statement of Attainment.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork; dispatch experience is an advantage.
