Principal Bridge Engineer

About the role

Aurecon is seeking an experienced Principal Bridge Engineer to join its Bridges and Civil Structures team in Perth. You will work on high‑profile, technically complex bridge and civil structure projects, collaborating with senior professionals and eminent engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality, technically complex designs for bridges and related civil structures.
• Lead and manage project teams, ensuring design excellence and timely delivery.
• Engage directly with clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
• Apply relevant codes and standards for steel, reinforced and pre‑stressed concrete structures.
• Contribute to a collaborative, high‑performing culture and share knowledge across geographies.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in structural design, with deep expertise in bridge engineering.
• Proven client‑facing experience and ability to network effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and passion for delivering complex projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Tertiary qualification in civil or structural engineering; chartered status preferred.
