Policy Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a Policy Coordinator to join our Head Office team in Wollongong (hybrid). The role involves developing, managing and implementing our policy framework to support high‑quality education for children from birth to 12 years, and assisting the CEO and Executive Team with advocacy, analysis and government engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, manage and implement the organisational policy framework, including policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Support the CEO and Executive Team with sector advocacy, policy analysis, government engagement and preparation of submissions and position papers.
• Ensure policies align with the delivery of high‑quality education for children aged birth‑to‑12.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience developing and managing an organisational policy framework.
• High‑level policy writing, report writing and research/analysis skills.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities, and confident verbal communication.
• Interest in public policy, advocacy or sector reform; knowledge of the early childhood sector is desirable.
