Planner/Scheduler – Maintenance & Asset Management (Full-Time)

About the role

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Planner/Scheduler to join its Brisbane team. You will link asset strategy with maintenance delivery, creating safe and efficient schedules for preventative and corrective work.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, plan and schedule maintenance activities in line with approved plans and scopes of work.
• Schedule corrective maintenance to meet contractual and statutory deadlines.
• Prioritise work based on asset criticality, condition and operational needs.
• Prepare detailed work plans covering labour, materials, tools and equipment.
• Manage maintenance backlog and optimise schedule efficiency.
• Communicate schedules to stakeholders and coordinate contractors.
• Maintain accurate CMMS data, generate performance and compliance reports.
• Support predictive and preventative maintenance planning.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement opportunities, applying Lean principles.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Planner/Scheduler in facilities maintenance or a similar asset‑intensive environment.
• Strong organisational, analytical and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritise competing demands.
• Continuous‑improvement mindset with knowledge of Lean methodologies.
• Trade qualification or tertiary technical qualification (desirable).
• Project management experience (desirable).

Required skills

• Proficiency with CMMS platforms.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and overall Microsoft Office skills.
• Understanding of Asset Lifecycle Management (ISO 55000 principles).
