People & Performance Coordinator

About the role

The City of Salisbury is seeking a proactive People & Performance Coordinator to join its Corporate Development team. You will provide high‑quality, customer‑focused HR support across the council, ensuring smooth and compliant people processes from onboarding through to off‑boarding.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver HR support to managers and employees, ensuring timely and accurate service.
• Coordinate the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, and exits.
• Maintain HR systems, records and documentation with a high degree of accuracy.
• Provide trusted advice on HR policies and procedures.
• Support workforce reporting and analytics.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement in HR policies, systems and practices.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented and proactive with strong organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience working in an HR or people‑operations environment.
• Ability to collaborate with managers and staff at all levels.
