People and Culture Coordinator

About the role

Nick Scali Limited is seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented People and Culture Coordinator to join its HR team in North Ryde. You will provide efficient, compliant support across the employee lifecycle and partner closely with HR Business Partners and key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers on HR policies, payroll enquiries, benefits and employment conditions.
• Coordinate onboarding, internal transfers, promotions and off‑boarding activities.
• Prepare and manage employment documentation such as contracts and variations.
• Collaborate with Payroll, People & Culture Advisor, Talent Acquisition and other stakeholders to resolve employee enquiries.
• Maintain accurate HR records, support reporting, data management and audit compliance.
• Contribute to HR projects, process enhancements and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Oversee employee exit processes ensuring timely completion of all documentation.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an HR Coordinator, HR Administrator or similar support role.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset with a willingness to take initiative.
• Knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practices is desirable.

Required skills

• Experience using payroll, HRIS or recruitment systems.
• Exposure to HR3 and Deputy is advantageous.
