Operations Trainer

About the role

The Operations Trainer will join HomeMade’s growing team to design, deliver and continuously improve training programmes that enable staff to provide exceptional support to older Australians. This role focuses on building the knowledge and skills required to meet customer experience goals and comply with aged‑care standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop training materials, modules and curricula for new hires, ongoing skill development and product updates.
• Facilitate engaging in‑person and virtual training sessions for HomeMade team members.
• Conduct regular assessments to evaluate training effectiveness and identify improvement areas.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of HomeMade processes, services, policies and procedures to ensure accurate training content.
• Identify and implement enhancements to training methodologies based on best practices and stakeholder feedback.
• Record training activities, attendance and performance metrics, and generate reports on programme impact.
• Ensure all training practices comply with the Aged Care Act and Aged Care Quality Standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in coordinating, delivering, evaluating and documenting training programmes.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Attention to detail and ability to track performance metrics.
• Commitment to upholding aged‑care regulatory requirements.
