National Account Manager

About the role

Crayola is looking for a dynamic National Account Manager to drive sales growth and nurture key national accounts across the consumer goods market. The role blends strategic planning, relationship management, and data‑driven decision‑making in a creative, values‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales plans to meet financial targets and increase market share.
• Manage and grow relationships with national accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Analyse account performance and key metrics, providing regular reports and strategic insights.
• Collaborate with Operations, Customer Service, Finance, and Marketing to deliver seamless service.
• Support agents and wholesalers, visit customers, and participate in demand planning.
• Coordinate trading terms and act as the customer expert across all levels.
• Represent Crayola at trade expos as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of account management experience in Consumer Goods or FMCG.
• Proven track record of achieving financial KPIs.
• Experience in the education channel and knowledge of the New Zealand market is a plus.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building abilities.
• Strategic, customer‑centric mindset with solid analytical capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field, or equivalent experience.
