Legal Counsel – Commercial, Corporate & Governance

About the role

This is a rare, fully flexible in‑house position within a purpose‑driven organisation in the agriculture sector. You will work side‑by‑side with an experienced General Counsel, providing commercial, corporate and governance advice across a wide range of projects.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts and procurement agreements.
• Provide legal and commercial advice to internal stakeholders.
• Support governance, compliance and corporate advisory matters.
• Assist with employment, intellectual property, regulatory and stakeholder advisory issues.
• Contribute to strategic projects and business‑partnering activities.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with experience in commercial, corporate or governance matters.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote‑first environment.
• Interest in agriculture‑related business contexts.
