Lecturer in Art & Creative Technologies (Part‑time)

About the role

UHI Perth is seeking a part‑time Lecturer to deliver Art and Creative Technologies programmes. The role involves teaching across foundation to postgraduate levels, guiding students in contemporary digital and visual practice.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lectures, workshops and studio sessions for up to 21 hours per week.
• Develop curriculum that integrates emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Assess student work and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and research.
• Maintain professional standards and comply with safeguarding requirements.

Required profile

• Current professional experience as a creative practitioner in the art, design or digital media sector.
• Proven ability to teach at further‑education and higher‑education levels.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a student‑centred approach.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Perth, Scotland.
